My 1st Birthday

I had a great first birthday on April 18th! Well, it started off great and went downhill from there. Mommy picked out a birthday cake and hat for me and Daddy took the pictures! Unfortunately, the cake didn't sit well with me and it came up, about 6 times that night. Oh well. No more baked goodies for me...I'll just stick to special treats for specials days!

Hello all!

Not too much has been going on in the house of Lemon. Yes, it is my house. I run it and let Mommy and Daddy live there!

Mom hasn't really seen anything different or new with me that is worthy of posting. She's silly. Doesn't she know that EVERY photo of me is worth posting? I am a princess afterall. Someone needs to set her straight. Maybe I'll send her an e-mail since I can only type human and not speak it.

I did get a cozy new bed from Costco recently. Daddy picked it out for me. I will see if I have some pics of that to post. Other than that, I've just been peeing all around the house because...like I said...I own it.

Grooming Day

Mommy and Daddy take care of all my grooming needs right at home. Mommy usually gives me a bath, although Daddy has done so at time. But, Mommy is in charge of brushing me, cutting my nails and cleaning my ears. In this pictures, she was getting me ready for Christmas Eve/Day festivities with a nice nail trim! I hang out there while she snips and files my pretty nails down. We even snapped a couple of pictures together when it was all done!

What is Snow?

So I recently had my first encounter with snow. I must say that I'm not a big fan of it. It's fine and all, but it's just too cold. It's better than rain because when you're out there for the same amount of time, you get less wet in snow than rain. But, it is really cold. Daddy is great and shovels a potty area for me. This also helps me from sinking in 1 or more feet of snow. I am a small dog after all. Mom got up early (very unusual for her) to get these pictures of me!

Pillows are Fun

Believe it or not, pillows can be a lot of fun! Mom got me this pillow at a going out of business sale for only $4. It is wicked fun. I beat it up and chew it and drag it all over the floor. It's really a blast - you should give it a shot some time!

I Love Presents...oops...I mean Christmas!

I really enjoyed myself. Christmas is a great holiday. I never got so much stuff at once! My aunts and grandparents got me treats and toys! Then, Mom, Dad and I went to the pet store where Auntie Sandra works and bought me more stuff. Of course I got food and more treats, but I also got more toys. I really love the stuff monkey that I got. It is as big as me and I managed to drag it all the way up the stairs last night. I'm a strong girl!

All I have to do now is work on putting my toys back in the toy basket when I am done playing. I leave them all over the floor and Mom is going to bust her other foot one day. She can't walk as it is.
