Grooming Day

Mommy and Daddy take care of all my grooming needs right at home. Mommy usually gives me a bath, although Daddy has done so at time. But, Mommy is in charge of brushing me, cutting my nails and cleaning my ears. In this pictures, she was getting me ready for Christmas Eve/Day festivities with a nice nail trim! I hang out there while she snips and files my pretty nails down. We even snapped a couple of pictures together when it was all done!

What is Snow?

So I recently had my first encounter with snow. I must say that I'm not a big fan of it. It's fine and all, but it's just too cold. It's better than rain because when you're out there for the same amount of time, you get less wet in snow than rain. But, it is really cold. Daddy is great and shovels a potty area for me. This also helps me from sinking in 1 or more feet of snow. I am a small dog after all. Mom got up early (very unusual for her) to get these pictures of me!

Pillows are Fun

Believe it or not, pillows can be a lot of fun! Mom got me this pillow at a going out of business sale for only $4. It is wicked fun. I beat it up and chew it and drag it all over the floor. It's really a blast - you should give it a shot some time!

I Love Presents...oops...I mean Christmas!

I really enjoyed myself. Christmas is a great holiday. I never got so much stuff at once! My aunts and grandparents got me treats and toys! Then, Mom, Dad and I went to the pet store where Auntie Sandra works and bought me more stuff. Of course I got food and more treats, but I also got more toys. I really love the stuff monkey that I got. It is as big as me and I managed to drag it all the way up the stairs last night. I'm a strong girl!

All I have to do now is work on putting my toys back in the toy basket when I am done playing. I leave them all over the floor and Mom is going to bust her other foot one day. She can't walk as it is.

Been Sick

Hey all,

I'm sorry I haven't written sooner but I have been down a paw lately. Mom took me to the vet and I have a luxating patella. I can barely say that in one woof. Anywho, my knee cap moves out of place. I've been doing fine for the most part, but have been a little bummed. I should not need surgery although it is an (expensive) option. The doc says so long as I keep at a normal weight, then I can live with it. Daddy's friend suggested a vitamin supplement that I just started taking, but it might be giving me diarrhea...not fun. We'll have to see. I'm cutting back on treats to make sure it's the supplement and not something else. I have some great pics from my first snow! I will post them soon!

My New Sweater!

My Mommy rocks. She crocheted me this great sweater! I HATE the cold. I just don't like it. But, Mommy made me this sweater so that I would be warm when I go out to do my business. While I love it, it does make me look a little fat. Seriously, the sweater (+camera) add ten pounds!

Fun with Daddy

Here's some new pictures of me with Daddy. He thinks he's funny when he hovers over me. I didn't really care because I was eating my bull stick. Clearly some things are more important that playing all the time! You'll also see that I am Daddy's baby! He and Mommy better not have any real babies any time soon. I love this - just the three of us!

I've been sick

Yeah, I've been a little sick lately. I'm starting to feel better though! I had an ear infection and my spay incision got infected as well. It sucked. It took mom a few days to realize my ears were bothering me even though I kept rubbing them on the carpet.

Well, I'm taking all my meds like a good girl, but I do love to shake the ear drops out of my ears and onto whoever or whatever is near.

There aren't any new pics to post yet. Next weekend is Thanksgiving and I'll be in Massachusetts AND Connecticut. I am sure mommy and daddy will have their cameras with them.

Working on my Skills with my Dad!

Almost every night, Daddy and I "practice my stuff." He teaches me paw, lay, sit, stay, come, etc. I love it. I work hard and Daddy rewards me with treats. I'm working on fetch, but haven't gotten it down yet. Mommy took some pictures of our recent practice session:

My New Coat

I'm not used to New England weather yet. It has been really cold and Mommy and Daddy tell me it is only going to get colder! Daddy saw a great little coat for me and bought it even though he refuses to buy me clothes. He doesn't want me to be cold and keep him outside forever in the morning while I try to potty. Ever since I got it, I am a super efficient pooper. Here is me trying it on for size before we decided to keep it.

Happy Halloween

Last weekend, Mommy, Daddy and I went to Gloucester for Nonno Taormina's Birthday. Uncle Keith bought me an Orange Teddy Bear with a cape and mask. It's great and I still can't stop chewing it and shaking it around. Thank you!!!

This is What I Like to Do Every Morning

Every morning after Daddy takes me out to tinkle, I run upstairs to go wake Mommy up. Once she gets out of bed, I run around with my rope, from the master bedroom to the guest bedroom. It's a lot of fun. Then, Mommy and Daddy try to bring me downstairs so that they can leave for work and I hide under the bed where they can't reach me. Anyhow, here's some pictures Mommy took of me while I played and she got ready for work.

No Pictures and it's Mommy's Fault!

Sadly, I haven't been able to post in a while because while Mommy was on vacation, she fell and damaged it. So, while she waited to have it repaired, she completely forgot that she had Daddy's old camera. Well, she finally busted it out and now I have some new pics!

Back from Vacation

Well, I'm finally back from vacation. I have to say that it was a pleasant surprise. I pretty much owned my grandparents' house. Gigi was my bitch (yes, I like role reversal). Nonno had me wrapped up in a down comforter on his lap on a nightly basis. Nonna spent most of the day with me instead of her dogs. It was quite the gig. I'll have to do it again sometime.

Now I'm back home and there are rules. Whatevs. I'll post some pics in the near future!

I'm Going on Vacation :)

On Wednesday, September 17th, I'm going on my first vacation. Well, Mommy and Daddy are going to Europe and dumping me off at Mommy's parent's house. They call it a vacation. I call it a raw deal. Anywho, I won't be able to post until after their return, but hopefully I'll have some great pictures! Till the end of the month....

My New Friend!

Gigi and I are good buddies now! We had a lot of fun this past Saturday in Connecticut.
